December Daily 2022 - Day 4

 

Hello! I'm back to share Day 4 in my December Daily album/junk journal. The fourth story in my album features a photo I LOVE: a photo of our porch with Snow laying outside, and our minimal Christmas lights.

I love our girl Snow (a Chow Chow) and I love our home. I have a series of photos of this view of our house in different seasons that I would love to put into one story/project sometime. 

This is actually my first two-page spread in the album. It was a little challenging figuring out how to do this one because I am doing an accordion-style album, which only allows for one page before it folds over.

This is a look at both pages together. I love that I was able to include two photos in this story, a full view of our house and then the large photo of Snow.

Here's a look at the two pages individually. I used some of the Warm + Merry collection from Humble + Create for the second half (when I saw that dog with lights, I KNEW I had to use it!). My journaling went right on the photo before printing it out, as well as the 'Deck the Halls' digital word, which is from Ali Edwards.

 

This is my first time trying heat embossing (it was really something I wanted to incorporate into my album this year). So I embossed the 'More Twinkle Lights' circle (which I turned into 'LESS' by adding a typed word over it), a star on this page and two on the other side.

Really love how this one turned out. AND I love that I was able to include a full page photo of Snow. AND I love our minimimal lights this year.
